It is the women who, coming to the tomb where Jesus was put to rest after the crucifixion, who first learn from an Angel that he has risen again. Here we have the image of Mary of Magdala, who comes to the sacred grove where Jesus has been buried, meets a spirit, who reveals the Truth to her. The image reminds us again of the Annunciation, at the beginning of the Kristha Katha series. Mary of Magdala is bowing down, like someone who is in the seed. The angel is telling her that there is life beyond death.
