In the same way, the cup which Jesus offered to his disciples, and the bread he shared with them, were symbols of a deeper reality which we find in the legend of the holy Grail. Here the cups are like the eyes of the disciples, and the bread is like the white circle that symbolizes the Ultimate Zero, or nothingness (Sunya) which is also the fullness of life.
